Aquanaut Diving School has been spawning new divers in Cyprus for more than a decade. Now is the time for you to dive into the NAUI Open Water Diver course and begin your world of exploration underwater! Whether you want to dive with colorful fish, turtles, or lion fish, as a NAUI Open Water Diver you have the freedom to dive with a buddy anywhere in the world!
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a NAUI Open Water Diver certification. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a NAUI Junior Open Water Diver program available.
A NAUI Jr Open Water Diver between the ages of 10 and 11 years may only dive with a NAUI Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing four dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water ocean dives. The ocean dives can be done at the beach. However many students choose to upgrade their dive experience with a boat trip.
NAUI programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. Aquanaut Diving School has a variety of schedules to meet most individuals’ needs, including visitors. The class typically takes a week, but can take as little as 3 days for those who wish to schedule private courses. We offer private courses for those who want a more personal experience in learning to dive.
